2006 Bass Phillip 21

The colour of this dry red Pinot Noir is quite deep ruby. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of perfume, cabbage, rose, vegetal, earth, smoke and touch of raspberry. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with medium flavour intensity. Red cherry, raspberry, cabbage with some vegetal and mushroom notes. Fairly long length with raspberry finish. (91) Not a bad wine but to me it is over-praised. It have a feel of heat of the fruit which is totally different from those delicacy of Burgundian.
