Hennessy Paradis Extra Cognac

This cognac has medium intensity copper colour. On nose it gives fairly pronounced aromas of jasmine, orange, apricot, honey, vanilla and touch of caramel. Water brings out tropical fruit notes. It is off-dry with medium acidity. Mellow medium alcohol and fuller than medium bodied, touch of tannin detected. On palate it has slightly over medium flavours of orange peel, honey, apricot and touch of caramel and vanilla. Fairly long length with honey and tropical fruit finish. (92)

口感很醇厚，亦展現了酒的陳年感。酒香強烈複雜有變化，可是在口中複雜性少了。餘韻算長，收結吸引，但如以酒質計此酒只可以比美以前的普通XO，所以有一個價格及品牌升級的感覺。

Hennessy XO Cognac (by Jardine)

Deep copper coloured cognac with quite pronounced and very aged aromas of cheese, rancio, raisin, dried apricot, prune and lemon jam. Adding water decrease its aromas intensity but gives floral notes. It is dry with smooth alcohol. Quite full bodied with medium intensity flavours of raisin, earth, prune, apricot and nut. Medium length with caramel and prune finish (90). Show good rancio character but fading out. It should be a rich spirit and should be very good if drank early, as evidenced by its rather short length by this quality.

相對較濃厚的酒，酒底的陳年感很充足，酒精感醇和，可是酒味好像開始有點退卻，相信是在酒瓶內太久了，亦令酒的餘韻略短。

Medium copper in colour with quite pronounced matured aromas of raisin, jasmine, orange peel, apricot, vanilla, and touch of honey, caramel, and roasted nut. With water gives further jasmine, honey and vanilla aromas. Dry with integrated alcohol. Touch of tannin detected and quite full bodied. Higher than medium intensity flavour of citrus, apricot, violet, honey and raisin. Medium length with raisin finish. (89) Good nose but weak in palate. Reasonable complexity and intensity.

不錯的XO，但奇怪的是餘韻較短了點，但仍有一定複雜性及陳年感，難道真的是新版XO酒底較以前的差??
