2002 Ch. Pape Clement

Deep purple coloured with quite intense aromas of black plum jam, blackcurrant, menthol, earth, and touch of warm brick. Dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and full bodied. Fairly high tannin but ripe with quite intense flavours of black cherry, plum, licorice, earth, tea, and touch of mushroom. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (93) Still rich and jammy.

19年的酒,還很濃很醬果的。酒的強度不錯,亦有一定複雜性和像是標誌性的風味,酒的風格仍是大大舊,現在飲已經很不錯,但還可陳年一段時間,是一枝可佐餐或剩飲的酒。這表現也指出2002年的波爾多也不是一個差的年份。

1995 Ch. Pape Clement

Deep purple colour with quite high intensity aromas of blackcurrant, graphite, earth, violet, licorice and touch of warm brick, vanilla and menthol, quite complex, it is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Quite full bodied with medium ripe and fine grained tannin. Slightly higher than medium flavours of blackcurrant, black plum, violet, licorice and touch of earth and mushroom. Long length with black cherry finish. (92)

這酒莊的酒真的好穩定,不論好年爛年水準都算高 ,酒有著田土特色,複雜而強烈,餘韻很長,亦吸引。好飲,只是酒味在口中弱了點。

2005 Ch. Pape Clement

A deep purple wine with higher than medium intensity aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, licorice, warm earth, toast, violet, smoke and touch of menthol and cherry jam, good nose indeed. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied and medium ripe and fine-grained tannin. The flavour intensity is slightly over medium with flavours of black cherry, licorice, blackcurrant and touch of herbaceous and bell pepper. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (93)

殺嬰嗎?可能吧。酒香已清楚說明它是一枝好酒,酒的表現一致,酒味在口中的發展仍未全面,餘韻長,現在飲已開始有點可以了,但放多幾年我相信一定會更令人回味的。

1990 Ch. Pape Clement

A dry red wine with deep purple colour. On nose it gives medium intensity noses of black plum, blackcurrant, earth, mineral, vanilla and violet. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is ripe and soft at medium level, with slightly over medium flavours of black cherry, black plum, vegetal, licorice and touch of earth and dried herb. Close to long length with black plum finish. (93)

90年的波爾多真的很不錯,只是香氣力度好像差了點。複雜性頗佳,酒體柔順,餘韻悠長。好酒一枝。這酒莊的酒傾向耐藏似的,已是90年酒但仍有活力的,好飲。

1986 Ch. Pape Clement

With 16 years of age, this dry red wine still possess almost deep purple colour with medium nose of blackcurrant, cherry, smoke, violet with touch of warm brick. Medium acidity, alcohol and soft ripe tannin, together with slightly fuller than medium bodied. The flavour intensity is barely over medium. Plum, warm brick, smoke and earth filling the round and well integrated palate. Fairly long length with cherry and warm brick finish. (92)

充分表現了它的風格。香氣複雜但不太強烈,餘韻亦交足貨,口感可惜較弱,慢慢嘆,正。

1995 Ch. Pape Clement

After more than 15 years, this wine still gives a deep purple colour with medium nose of blackcurrant, violet, plum, tea, warm brick, pine wood and dried herbs. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Barely fuller than medium bodied and quite high tannin but still ripe and fine-grained. Medium flavour intensity. Blackcurrant, bell pepper, cedar, plum, smoke and hints of earth.  Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (92) A wine with complex nose. It shows that it was concentrated and well-made but not at a superb standard as the palate is comparatively weaker.

這酒真的不錯,尤其是在香味方面,層次豐富。可惜這複雜性延續至口裡時有一部份沒了。餘韻好,喝了一口後香氣持續有來。一路喝這酒一路與友談天真寫意。

1973 Ch. Pape Clement

This old dry red wine still has ruby hue to tawny rim. On nose, it gives leather, truffle, smoke and trace of cherry. It has low tannin and acidity and low to medium body. On palate, it has savoury, cherry and the wine is slightly maderized with medium finish. (88)
