2016 Ch. Moulin St. George

Deep purple coloured with pronounced noses of black plum, black cherry, mint, violet and trace of dark chocolate. Very intense and fruity nose, ripe but not jammy. It is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied with medium fine grain tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, licorice, red plum, earth and touch of mint. Longer than medium length with black cherry finish. (91) Need stronger palate.

香氣很好的一支酒,強烈得來有一定的複雜性,難得的是它並沒有想像中的那麼醬果,純粹以香氣來說覺得是一支出名的酒莊產品。酒味厚重,丹寧結實,只是酒味在口中的力度低了不少,餘韻亦一樣,是一支不錯的酒品,幾好飲,性價比來說更加是一支值得買的酒。

1999 Ch. Moulin Saint Georges

Another dry wine with deep ruby colour, paler rim and legs. The aromas contain black plum, vanilla, chocolate, spice, smoke and trace of herbaceous. It has medium acidity, slightly fuller body and medium alcohol. On palate, it gives flavours of black cherry, earthy and some spicy. Rich but simple in palate. Medium length with blackberries fruit finish. (90)

2004 Ch. Moulin St. George

This wine is deep ruby in colour. On nose it has a pronounced black ripe plum and vanilla flavour. It has medium to full body with medium alcohol and acidity. The tannin is ripe and soft with a medium length. This one seems to be a bit mature than that of 2002 one but the quality is really consistent in these two vintages. What a great work done by the owner of Ch. Ausone. (90) (Tasted 18 January 2009, reposted)

2002 Ch. Moulin St. George

This wine is claimed to be another second wine of Ch. Ausone, which it really is. This dark ruby wine gives a strong nose of black plum with cedar and wood aroma, the liquid is viscous and concentrated. After half an hour for breathing it gives more soft and supple in palate. There is a few seconds finish lingering on tongue which is a bit surprising, especially in this vintage. It is a good value for the wine in this vintage. (90) (Posted on 22 August 2008, reposted)
