9.8.15

1989 Glenfarclas Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2014)

A medium copper coloured whisky with medium noses of peat, smoke, honey, lemon peel, jasmine and touch of caramel and apricot. Water increases its floralness but reduces its smokiness. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied with touch of wood tannin. A bit wild. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium level with flavours of honey, jasmine, charcoal, lemon peel and touch of peat and caramel. Longer than medium length with honey lemon finish. 這酒有點點狂野感的,煙燻味較突出,但仍不失其複雜性,加水後更覺酒的花香。口感醇和,酒味足而有一定複雜,餘韻亦合格,幾好飲。
