This dry red wine still has deep purple colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of bell pepper, blackcurrant, leather, licorice, vanilla and touch of damp earth. It also has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with soft medium tannin. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium level with flavours of black cherry, plum, licorice and damp earth. Fairly long length with black cherry finish. (91)

接近40年酒,發展成熟之餘仍有一定活力,已經很難得了。酒香及酒味的強度也好,複雜性在口中差了點,餘韻亦算長。好飲,亦令人有點驚喜。
