1998 Clos des Goisses Champagne Philipponnat Brut

This dry champagne has medium intensity lemon colour. On nose it has higher than medium intensity aromas of lemon bread, yeast, honey, toast and touch of cream and yogurt. Qutie acidic with medium alcohol. Fuller than medium bodied and quite high in flavour intensity. The flavours contain citrus, honey, yeast, caramel and touch of cognac. Fairly long length with honey lemon finish. (92)

 酒頗豐滿,口感軟綿,香氣算強而有一定複雜性。酒在口中的成熟感很強,酒味融合,餘韻亦長。這酒在口中的表現比聞好,好飲。

1980 Philipponnat Grand Blanc Champagne Brut

A medium lemon colour champagne with not much bubbles. It has fairly high intensity noses of honey, cane juice, ripe red apple, wet hay and touch of honey and caramel. Dry with medium zesty acidity, medium alcohol and quite full bodied. The flavours have ripe apple, honey, citrus, hay and touch of caramel, all at slightly over medium intensity. Longer than medium length with ripe apple finish. (91)

似一枝熟透的白酒多過似一枝香檳。酒香力度強,複雜性以成熟莎當妮酒為主,亦有點點氧化的感覺了。酒的酸度仍保持到,而酒味亦與酒香一致,餘韻亦長。不錯,但如果你喜歡欣賞香檳氣泡的話就會令你失望了。

A dry vintage champagne with medium lemon green colour and quite pronounced nose of ripe apple, lemon bread and toasty biscuit. Medium acidity, bodied and alcohol which are well integrated with the flavours. Medium flavour intensity of apple, lemon, toast and bread. Fairly long length with lemon and toast finish. (91)

極適合飲用的一枝香檳。在口中可以感受到整枝酒的各樣成合混合一致,口感柔順,唯獨是變化不太大,比較簡單,但卻飲得開心舒暢。
