1985 Petrus

Deep ruby colour with over medium intensity aromas of black cherry, plum, quartz, violet, vegetal, smoke and mineral, it is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Soft medium tannin as well. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, tea, mineral and vegetal notes. Longer than medium length with black cherry finish. (92)

發展成熟,各方面也在中上水平,酒香複雜,亦感受到田地特色,很忠實的表現。三十多年的酒仍有著這強度的黑果,很難得,而且亦有成熟的風格,平衡得很好,不會有年輕那種力量,好喝,但不是追求澎湃力量的人所喜愛的類型。

2005 Petrus

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of black plum, dried black cherry, smoke, choclate, mint, steel, mineral and earth. It has medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with quite high ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate it has quite high intensity flavours of black plum, black cherry, mineral, earth and touch of vegetal and chocolate. Long length with black plum finish. (96) Long way to go.....

 雖然已經有十年多,但仍是一件殺嬰事件,看來放多七至十年也不怕。酒的濃度高,但沒有醬果感。複雜性有些開始發展出來,但酒味仍需多些時間,相比酒香,現在簡單了點。餘韻很長,令人回味的,好酒一枝,過多十年會是一枝很出色的佳釀。

A deep ruby dry red wine with pronounced noses of black plum, ripe black cherry, mint, forest floor, touch of burning iron, violet and earth. It has medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with fairly high intensity flavours of black cherry, smoke, black plum, touch of mint, chocolate and tea. Fine-grained medium tannin and fairly long length with black cherry finish. (94)

酒的確濃厚。在任何一方面也很好,特別加了分的是這酒在濃厚之餘也表現了其田土特性,如果單寧再順滑一點的話會更好,但已經是很好飲了。
