2012 La Chapelle de La Mission Haut Brion

A deep purple dry red wine with quite pronounced level aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, cedar, menthol and touch of clove and warm brick. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with medium fine grained tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of black plum, vanilla and warm earth. Longer than medium length with black plum finish. (89) Good nose but rather simple palate.

酒的香氣很好，不論在強度、複雜性、層次及風格也是。酒在口中表現減了分，酒力及餘韻仍是合格有餘的，口感亦算柔順，是一支很不錯的餐酒。這酒莊的正牌酒質素很高，但以這支副牌來說只是一支中規中矩的。

2002 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

A dry red wine with deep purple colour. On nose it has pronounced aromas of black plum, blackcurrant, cherry, loads of black fruit, dried fig, cedar, vegetal, warm brick and trace of dust and mint, very complex. Medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied and quite high ripe and fine grained tannin. On palate, it gives over medium intensity flavours of black cherry, plum, tea, earth, licorice and trace of cedar and dust. Over medium length with black cherry finish. (92) Wonderful nose.

這酒很香，香到只想揸住個杯一路聞 ，酒香又強又複雜。酒味也不錯，但不及酒香，酒味發展頗快，強度亦可，餘韻算長，好味道，但聞比喝的享受更好。

1998 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has pronounced level aromas of blackcurrant, dusty earth, plum, licorice, violet and dried blueberry. Medium acidity and alcohol with full bodied and quite high ripe and fine grain tannin. The flavours contain blueberry, plum, warm brick, licorice and black tea, all about medium level. Fairly long length with blue berry finish. (94) Good fruit.

近二十年酒，但果味感覺仍然很濃厚，難得。酒香撲鼻，餘韻亦長，酒味亦有一定田土特色，好飲。酒的單寧仍強，但不算鞋口，相信還有發展空間。好酒來的。

1990 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

A deep purple dry red wine with medium nose of leather, earth, black plum, graphite and touch of prune, herbaceous, mint leaves. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with quite high intensity aromas of black cherry, mulberry, licorice, vegetal and touch of earthiness. Long length with black plum finish. (95) Good depth and layer, starting running from the peak now.

有點點深不可測的感覺。酒香力度不算強勁，但很複雜。可是酒在口中表現更誘人，味道加強了，複雜性仍在之餘更有層次感。餘韻亦很長而吸引。令人回味。現在很適飲，過多兩三年可能會開始往下行了。現飲真的很享受。

1988 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

Pair this wine with 1993 Haut Brion. It is deep ruby with a more eminent character of terror. Dry herb, tobacco and earthy fills up my nose with trace of raspberry aroma. Medium body, tannin and acidity. On palate it gives further earthy character with trace of leather and the finish lasts for a few second only. A tired one but still enjoyable. (89)

If this one was drunk 5 years ago, this would be more enjoyable than the 1993 Haut Brion.

2004 Ch. La Mission Haut Brion

This wine is opaque purple in colour. A intense ripe blackcurrant, plum, vegetal, clove, cedar aroma with trace of smoke, cigar leaf. It has low to medium acidity, almost full body and the flavours have blackcherry, pine, earth and mineral, supported with fine grain strong tannin. The finish is long and strong (93)
