Medium lemon green colour with quite intense aromas of lemon, red apple, brown bread, mineral and trace of coffee and caramel, it is dry with medium acidity, medium alcohol and bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of brown bread, stewed red apple and hazelnut. Fairly long length with apple finish. (93) Interesting maturation

2002 Billecart Salmon Cuvee Elisabeth Salmon Brut Rose Champagne
This dry champagne has medium intensity onion skin colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of strawberry, lime, chalk, green apple, limestone and steel. Quite high acidity, medium alcohol and bodied with creamy mousse. The flavour intensity is over medium level with flavours of red apple, strawberry, and lemon, very fruity. Fairly long length with apple and lemon finish. (93) Fruity and good character, will improve with time.

貫徹著這酒莊那清爽的性格,酒香有著生果盤的感覺,酸度足,但不算削。酒在口中的果味主導了整個品飲感受,餘韻長,好飲。相信多幾年會更好,但放太長的話我怕紅果味會有影響。

1998 Billecart-Salmon Cuvee Nicolas Francois Billecart
This champagne is medium lemon green colour with tiny bubbles with long
persistence. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of ripe apple,
yeast, grapefruit, toast and lime. Dry with quite high and sour acidity.
Medium alcohol. Fuller than medium body and quite high flavour
intensity. Ripe apple, honey, bready with touch of lemony on palate.
Medium plus length with honey lemon finish. (92). Fresh, crisp and
precise. Shows certain evolvement and can improve further.
