1989 Vega Sicilla Unico

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with quite intense aromas of black plum, black cherry, raspberry, dried strawberry, prune, dates, sweet vanilla and licorice, quite jammy. Medium acidity and alcohol, full bodied with over medium tannin. The flavour intensity is quite high with flavours of black plum, strawberry jam, vanilla and warm earth. Long length with dried plum finish. (93) Too rich and full.

這些酒的口感真的很濃,強強的乾果口味,很重口。這表現了酒力的強勁 ,餘韻長長,力量型之選。有著這樣的醬果感,有點膩。已經三十多年仍有這表現,真的可以陳很夠,熟優熟劣真是見人見智了。好喝的,但不會令人不斷的斟來喝。

2007 Vega Sicilla Unico

This dry red wine has deep purple colour and pronounced noses of blackberry jam, mint leaf, mulberry, licorice, black plum jam, damp wood and earth. It has medium acidity and alcohol. Full bodied and high level of ripe and fine grain tannin. On palate it gives quite high intensity flavours of black cherry, vegetal, licorice, earth and touch of mint. Close to long length with black cherry finish. (93) Way too young. Very concentrated.

濃濃厚厚的,酒力澎湃,複雜性高,只聞酒香已知酒質非凡。口感豐厚,餘韻亦長,好好飲。酒的發展仍須一段時間,現飲會令人知道這是好酒而更有期待。酒是早飲了,但已經表現好好,希望它成長後有機會再試。

Vega Sicilia Unico Reserva Especial (Lot 2009)

A dry wine of deep ruby colour and heavy legs. Quite high aromas intensity on nose with strawberry, cherry, floral, coconut, sweet spice with trace of banana. On palate it has medium alcohol and acidity. Medium plus bodied and medium plus sweet and fine-grained tannin. Pronounced intensity flavours of vanilla, coconut, strawberry, red plum and cherry with trace of smoke. Long length with red fruit finish. (95) (Tasted on 19 Nov 2011)
