Medium ruby colour with quite intense noses of red plum jam, mint leaf, earth, anise, toasted licorice, very decent and elegant. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Quite full bodied with a bit oily mouthfeel, medium sweet and smooth tannin. On palate it has quite high intensity flavours of red plum jam, red berry, licorice, tea and warm earth. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (93) Should have longer length.

優雅複雜的香氣，豐滿柔順的口感，酒力強，好好的品飲享受， 只是餘韻比想像中短了些。可能因為這酒由聞到入口表現令我有此期待吧。很好喝的。

2001 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Cros Parantoux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget

This dry red wine has deep ruby colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of red plum, licorice, rose perfume, smoke, vanilla, lavender, and strawberry jam. Medium acidity and alcohol, with quite full bodied and medium tannin. On palate, it gives quite high intensity flavours of black plum, black cherry, rose, licorice, lavender and cedar, very spicy. Long length with red plum finish. (94)

這酒的香味及酒味都強，複雜性更引人入勝，果味及香料味縱橫交錯的，餘韻長，令人回味，酒的香料味很出色，好好飲，但須要慢慢嘆，因為酒味的複雜性會要用一點時間去感受的，一枝絕不簡單的酒。

A deep ruby dry red wine with fairly high intensity noses of red plum, rose, cabbage, menthol, pine and British tea. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied with fairly high ripe and fine grained tannin. The flavour intensity is slightly higher than medium level with flavours of red cherry, licorice, vegetal and touch of cabbage. Long length with red plum finish. (93)

原先只是想比92分，但因為它的餘韻令我比93。酒的強度好，由聞至飲都有一定的強。複雜性來說酒香比酒味出眾，只是酒味在口中"標準"了點，沒有它的96或99年般的層次變化。好飲，以這年份來說是一枝年代佳釀。

2004 Echezeaux, Domaine George Jayer by E. Rouget

A fairly deep ruby colour dry red wine with quite high intensity aromas of red plum, red cherry, cabbage, rose perfume, and touch of vanilla and mushroom. It has medium level acidity and alcohol, medium bodied too. The tannin is barely at medium level and soft in nature, a little bit green tho. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red wild cherry, rose perfume, cabbage, mushroom and touch of smoke and tea leave. Medium length with red cherry finish. (92) Clean and fresh, a bit exotic too.

 高貴優雅的香氣，有著一定的強度及複雜性。口感柔順，但感到少少單寧的青澀。酒在口中的強度也不錯，複雜性仍能維持，只是餘韻給我的感覺短了點，否則會給與更好的評價。

1996 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Cros Parantoux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget

This dry red wine has bright deep ruby colour and fairly pronounced noses of red plum, cabbage, rose jam, nutmeg, licorice which makes you think of a full box of spice, very interesting. Medium acidity, alcohol and fine-grained tannin, fuller than medium bodied as well. On palate it has fairly high intensity flavours of red plum, wild cherry, cabbage and spice box. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (94) Wonderful spiciness.

這酒給人一種濃厚的感覺，酒香非常吸引，像有說不出數量的香料似的，誰說酒香不能令人想入非非? 口感豐富餘韻亦長，只是酒味在口中的複雜性下跌了點，但已是一枝令人回味的酒品了。

1999 Vosne Romanee 1er Cru Cros Parantoux, Domaine Emmanuel Rouget

A deep ruby coloured dry red wine with close to pronounced aromas of red berry, red plum, rose jam, licorice, dried herb and touch of cabbage, earth, anise and smoke. Medium acidity and alcohol. Slightly fuller than medium bodied with ripe medium tannin. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, rose, dusty, and dried spices like licorice, and clove. Long length with red plum and rose finish. (94)

十多年的酒，仍好像新近年份般的活力。酒香強而複雜，口感順滑，餘韻長而誘人，非常出色 。酒仍在轉化階段，還可以陳年，現飲亦已很不錯了，只是口感像重了點，在優雅感方面有所欠缺的。對它將來的表現很有期望。

Over medium intensity ruby colour with pronounced nose of red plum, menthol, leafy, fresh cabbage, rose and damp wood. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Round mouthfeel with medium soft and ripe tannin. Quite high intensity flavours of red cherry, plum, cabbage and vanilla with fairly long length and red cherry finish. (93)

香氣足，複雜性好。餘韻長，口感柔順。酒味亦濃厚但複雜性少了點。整體平衡出色，好好飲，會不自覺地繼續飲的，好味。
