Yamazaki 25 Years Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition

Deep mahogany coloured with pronounced aromas of black plum, prune, caramel, coffee, nutmeg and touch of smoke and raisin. Water brings out floral notes. It is dry with medium acidity, medium integrated alcohol and full bodied. Trace of wood tannin too. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of caramel, nutmeg, raisin, smoke, grain and touch of coffee. Fairly long length with coffee and caramel finish. (94) Rick and full, good extraction.

很濃厚的一款酒，可以看出它陳年感之餘，亦感覺到酒從木桶中提取了不少的感覺 ，但亦不至於只得木桶味。酒力強而有著成熟酒的複雜性，口味頗重，餘韻長。個人覺得這酒較適合剩飲，用來吃飯未必一定好。因為酒味已經有點似甜品了。

Medium mahogany coloured with close to pronounced level aromas of caramel, honey, malt and touch of smoke and citrus, water brings out touch of floral notes. This dry whisky has medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. Touch of wood tannin is detected with over medium flavour intensity. The flavours contain honey, caramel, malt and touch of raisin. Longer than medium length with caramelized malt finish. (93)

陳年感很不錯的，香氣很強，亦有一定複雜性。餘韻尚算不錯，酒味單調了點點，像是一枝以陳年取勝的酒。可口的酒，飯後飲很不錯的。

Highland Park 25 years Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This whisky has medium amber colour with heavy legs. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of citrus peel, caramel, vanilla, hazelnut with touch of honey, smoke and peat. With water the caramel and honey notes are enhanced. Dry with medium warming alcohol, quite full bodied with medium intensity flavours of citrus peel, honey, caramel, jasmine and pinesol. Fairly long length with caramel finish. (90) Reasonable complexity, good nose but it cannot carry to the palate.

有一定複雜性，香氣好但不能延至口感，餘顏韻不錯。以一枝25年的威士忌來說是高於正常水準的。
