1999 Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Petite Chapelle, Domaine Jean & Jean Louis Trapet

Deep ruby coloured with over medium noses of black plum, vanilla, rose jam, strawberry candy and touch of cabbage and licorice, it is a dry red wine with medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is at medium level and ripe and silky in nature. On palate, it has medium intensity flavours of red cherry, vegetal, cabbage, rose and licorice. Medium length with red plummy finish.
