1999 Romanee St. Vivant, Domaine de la Romanee Conti

Deep ruby coloured dry red wine with quite intense noses of rose perfume, redberry jam, red plum, strawberry jam, mint and anise spice. Medium acidity, alcohol and fuller than medium bodied with fine grained medium tannin. On palate it has quite intense flavours of red plum, rose perfume, redberry, licorice and herbal tea. Fairly long length with red plum jam finish. (94) Wonderful palate
