Quite deep ruby colour with fairly high intensity noses of rose, red plum, red cherry jam, menthol, pine, licorice and touch of damp earth. It is dry with medium acidity, alcohol and slightly fuller than medium bodied. Medium tannin but coarse in nature. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of red cherry, rose, cabbage, licorice and earth. Long length with red cherry finish. (92)

這酒的分數最主要來自它的餘韻,夠長。酒亦展示了一點深度及架構,酒香亦強烈複雜,可是酒味在口中的複雜性下跌了一點。最大問題是酒的單寧,有點鞋,扣了點分,但仍是一枝好飲的酒。飲開較順滑的黑皮諾的人會更加覺得枝酒鞋口。
