1996 Ch. Vray Croix de Gay

A deep ruby wine with medium acidity, alcohol and fairly full bodied. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of black plum, vegetal, bell pepper, vanilla and touch of smoke and earth. Medium level ripe and fine-grained tannin with barely medium flavours. Red cherry, licorice and touch of vegetal and damp wood. Barely over medium length with black cherry finish. (88)

酒香頗吸引的，但入口後好像突然消失了的感覺，不論酒味及餘韻都較弱。酒香複雜性不錯，但酒味的複雜性亦有所欠奉，聞與飲有一定的落差。
