Medium intensity copper coloured with pronounced noses of malt, honey, citrus peel, stewed peach and touch of smoke. Water brings out some floral notes. It is dry with medium mouth warming alcohol, full bodied and medium acidity, oily mouthfeel. On palate it gives over medium intensity flavours of lemon, floral, oak, vanilla and nuttiness. Medium length with nutty finish. (91) Needs better length

Glenfarclas 1982 The Family Casks Single Cask Single Malt Whisky

This whisky has medium gold colour with heavy legs. It has pronounced aromas of peat, grain, honey, citrus peel with touches of jasmine, marmalade, vanilla and tropical fruit. With water the peatiness and honey aromas are enhanced. It is dry with high warming alcohol. Notes of wood tannin is detected. Medium plus bodied and flavour intensity. Honey, tropical fruit, marmalade with touch of caramel. Long length with tropical fruit and grainy finish. (95) Rich and complex with layers of flavour. Very nice to enjoy but those who do not like high alcohol drink may find it a little bit harsh in the alcohol level.

Glenlivet 1940 Single Cask Single Malt Whisky

This whisky is medium gold in colour. On nose it gives medium intensity aromas of walnut, honey, vanilla, floral, licorice, with notes of peat, tropical fruit, jasmine and prune. Adding water enhances the tropical fruit and citrus peel characters. It is dry with medium well-integrated smooth alcohol. Medium plus bodied and quite high intensity flavours of peat, floral, seaweed, vanilla, jasmine, citrus and trace of honey. Long length with honey and citrus finish (95) Good layers of flavours and well integrated structure.

Tullibardine 1976 Single Cask Single Malt Whisky 50.2% abv

Medium gold in colour with medium intensity aromas of honey, camomile, unripe pineapple and trace of rubber and earthy. Adding water enhances earthiness and tropical fruit aroma. Dry with medium body and medium integrated alcohol. Quite high intensity flavours of citrus, unripe pineapple, camomile, floral with trace of seaweed and vanilla. Medium length with citrus peel finish. (91) sweet fruit and creamy

Glenglassaugh 1979 Single Cask Single Malt Whisky 44.7% abv

This whisky is pale gold in colour with quite high intensity aromas of mango,  honey, vanilla, butter and floral. Adding water enhances its floral notes but dilutes the other flavors. On palate it is dry with medium body and medium warming alcohol. Medium plus intensity flavours of ripe tropical fruit, honey, floral. Medium plus length with citrus peel finish. (92) Soft and round with sweet fruity style

Craigduff 1973 Single Cask Singe Malt Whisky 43% abv

Pale gold colour with significant legs.  It has quite high intensity aromas of peat, honey, grainy and trace of jasmine and iodine. With water the peatiness and citrus peel aromas enhanced. Dry with medium plus warming alcohol. Medium bodied. On palate it gives quite high intensity flavours of citrus peel, seaweed and jasmine. Medium plus length with citrus finish. (90)

Medium copper colour with caramel, sweet vanilla, toast, raisin, apricot aromas with trace of peatiness. Adding water enhances its peatiness and smoky aromas. Medium plus bodied with smooth and warm alcohol. Medium intensity flavours of caramel, cinnamon, iodine, and orange peel. Medium plus length with nutty finish. (94)

Medium plus gold colour with higher than medium intensity aromas of honey, caramel, vanilla and orange, sightly peated. Adding water gives floral and pineapple type aromas and reduces peatiness.
