2008 Nuit St. Georges Les Saint Georges, Domaine Henri Gouges

This dry red wine possesses a almost deep intensity ruby colour. On nose it has quite high intensity aromas of strawberry jam, vanilla, rose, perfume, candied banana with touch of cabbage, surprisingly fruity. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. The tannin is at medium level and fine-grained in nature. On palate, it has slightly over medium intensity flavours of rose pedal, strawberry, with note of licorice, tea and spice. Close to long length with red cherry finish. (92) Bit early to drink and lack of intensity, fine and elegant tho.

有點早飲，仍有過份的果香而未有多一點的發展層次。口感的複雜性和力度有些不足但亦優雅，餘韻算長，亦展現到一點品質，應該給多一點點時間會有所發展。

2006 Bourgogne, Domaine Henri Gouges

This is a dry red wine with quite deep ruby colour. On nose it gives medium intensity cabbage, plum, rose, earth, licorice and smoke aromas. It has medium acidity, alcohol and body with medium silky tannin. The flavour intensity is at medium level. Red cherry, rose, cabbage and smoke. Medium length wieh red plummy finish. (88) Clean and tidy, straight forward wine. It shows the typicity of Burgundy pinot noir, a good quality textbook wine.
