1996 Ch. Talbot

Deep purple coloured with over medium aroma intensity of blackcurrant, smoke, vegetal, black plum and tobacco. Dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Still over medium soft tannin with medium flavours of black cherry, vegetal and toast. Fairly long length with subtle black cherry finish. (91)

發展不錯，單寧仍強，香氣吸引，餘韻算長但較隱約，不錯。

1983 Ch. Talbot

A medium plus intensity purple coloured wine. On nose it gives medium level of black plum, earth, blackcurrant, violet, smoke aromas. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied with soft tannin. Medium intensity flavours of blackcurrant, black cherry, vegetal and trace of bell pepper and smoke. Medium plus length with blackberry finish. Tasted a US slip one 2 years ago. This one is much fresher and powerful that makes me feel that the condition of the one I had 2 years ago had suffered some condition problem.

2004 Ch. Talbot Caillou Blanc

This wine is medium lemon in colour. It has a complex nose with steel, hay, straw, caramel, together with slight honeydew and elderflower. On palate, it has medium acidity and medium to full body. Pronounced hay, steel, mineral and wet stone flavours are filling my palate with a long finish. It is a good quality wine but the character may not be my cup of tea. (90)

2000 Ch. Talbot

A deep ruby wine with blackberry, ripe plum, licorice, smoke and trace of blackcurrant, mint and floral notes. It has medium body and acidity, soft, fine-grained tannin. On palate, it gives, blackcherry, smoke and earth flavours with medium finish. (90)

1983 Ch. Talbot

The general is deep ruby colour with garnet tinged. It has medium to high acidity but smooth and soft tannin. On nose it gives blackcurrant and cedar wood flavour and the finish lasts for a while. Though the wine may be a bit old (25 years), its structure is still intact and the wine is still enjoyable. (90) (Tasted on 18 December 2008, reposted)
