2003 Ch. Rieussec

A Sauternes with medium gold colour with quite pronounced aromas of apricot, honey, raisin and trace of grass, mineral and pineapple. It is sweet with medium acidity. Full bodied and medium alcohol. Quite high intensity flavours of apricot, grassy, pineapple, honey and elderflower. Just longer than medium length with honey citrus finish. (93) Rich and complex but clean and sharp without any cloying. Giving some time for the sweetness to go down a bit will make it even more enjoyable.
