1988 Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Speyburn Single Malt Whisky (Bottled in 2010)

Medium lemon colour with over medium intensity aromas of lemon, honey, grain, ginger, vanilla, smoke and touch of peat. Water dilutes everything. It is dry with medium acidity and alcohol. Medium bodied too with touch of wood tannin. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of lemon, heady, ginger, vanilla, and trace of pear. Fairly long length with citrus finish. 這酒的餘韻提升了它的評價。酒香是不錯的，有一定強度和複雜性，酒味的強度低了點，但仍不錯，餘韻算長。酒較適宜直接飲，加冰或水恐怕會溝淡了。整體不錯，是一枝不太有深度，但表現直接坦率的酒。
