Deep ruby colour with quite intense noses of red cherry, rose, red plum, licorice, pine wood and trace of earth, it is dry with medium acidity and alcohol, quite full bodied with medium tannin but a bit coarse. The flavour intensity is medium with flavours of red cherry, red plum, rose pedal and touch of cabbage and vegetal. Longer than medium length with red plum finish. (90) Surprisingly a bit coarse?

以這葡萄園及年份來說是有點失敗的,但也不算差得很利害。酒香交到貨,有一定強度和複雜性。酒味在口中強度下降了,更奇的是口感有些鞋,餘韻尚算合格。酒整體不錯,但有點不太像這出色年份和田的風格,可能這解釋到這酒的價格。

Macallan Estate Reserve Single Malt Whisky
This whisky has medium intensity copper colour. On nose it has quite pronounced aromas of dried peach, toasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla and stewed lemon. Water brings out some floral notes. It is dry with medium integrated alcohol, quite full bodied with medium acidity, smooth mouthfeel. On palate it has medium intensity flavour of lemon jam, ginger, vanilla, and touch of licorice. Longer than medium length with lemon peel finish. (91)

2011 Leeuwin Estate Art Series Chardonnay
A medium lemon coloured dry white wine with medium intensity aromas of lemon, honey, peach, vanilla and hints of tropical fruits and wet stone. Medium acidity, alcohol and quite full bodied. On palate it has over medium intensity flavours of lemon, peach, honey, vanilla and mineral. Longer than medium length with lemony finish. (90) Pretty good palate.

1998 Chambertin Clos De Beze, Domaine Armand Rousseau
A deep ruby dry red wine with quite high intensity aromas of rose pedal, red cherry, licorice, sweet spice and touch of red plum and earth. Medium acidity, alcohol and bodied. Quite high tannin and stalky. On palate it gives over medium level flavours of red cherry, plum, rose, licorice, red tea and vegetal notes. Longer than medium length with red cherry finish. (93) Good layer of flavours.
